 Testimonials

  • Ted (he/him) & Marie (she/her)

β€œWe had the most caring, loving, and professional experience with Molly. The experience of the birth of our little Girl would not have been the same without her. We will never forget everything she did and will always be grateful she was present.”

  • Robert (he/him)

β€œA couple of months into my Wife’s pregnancy (our first child) she started having a lot of anxiety about child birth and labor… My Wife and I instantly felt a connection with Molly and her good natured spirit. She is unbiased of your birthing decisions and is truly there to support you! Our newborn is now a week old and we still talk about how hiring Molly was the best decision we made. Not only is she very understanding of the expecting Mother and birth partner’s feelings, she is VERY knowledgeable about pregnancy and labor and Is there every step of the way to provide answers to any questions/concerns you have day or night. We can’t imagine not having her with us in the delivery room while my Wife gave birth. If you are considering a Doula we highly recommend Healing Birthwork.”

  • Liz (she/her)

β€œI did the initial consult with Molly and loved everything about the session. She is a wealth of knowledge, non-judgemental, very kind, and compassionate β€” all amazing qualities to have in a doula. Within 1 hour, I could tell Molly knew what she was talking about and would certainly be the support system we needed. I highly recommend Molly and Healing Birthwork.”

β€œMolly was a huge blessing to have by our side throughout our pregnancy journey. She is kind, compassionate, informative, and really made me feel comfortable and safe during a very challenging delivery. We appreciate all that she did to help educate us on what to expect, offering support, and helping with my pain management and birthing experience. Thank you, Molly!”

Extended Testimonials

  • β€œWhen we hired Molly to be our doula it was the best decision that we could have made. Molly is loving, empathetic, knowledgeable and was such a wonderful team member to help us prepare for birth, go through labor, and set us up for success in the fourth trimester.

We are first time parents and planned for a unmedicated birthing center birth that turned very unexpectedly into a hospital birth. Molly was incredibly supportive during this experience and made sure that my wishes were heard and helped me process what was happening and what my options were at a very vulnerable time. She and my partner helped to give me the strength and love I needed when all our plans suddenly changed to continue to fight for what I wanted and make it a beautiful, memorable birth experience.

We really don't know what we would have done without her! Her services are priceless and I wish everyone had someone like her on their journey. If you're reading this review I wish you a beautiful, safe birth experience and if you can, hire Molly!”

  • People don't think that they need a Doula sometimes because they have maybe support here or somebody to hold their hand but it makes such a huge difference to have somebody there that knows different interventions and knows how to reassure you.

I contacted Molly later in my pregnancy because due to coronavirus, my boyfriend could not come home from his deployment. Molly gladly agreed to help. It was honestly the best decision I made with my pregnancy. She gave me support while I wasn't sure if I started labor, and was with me pretty much all the way through my 33 hour labor Process. She is a wealth of knowledge, and she is non-judgemental. Some people that work in this field are very biased or lean towards one or the other but she was just there to help you make a decision that would be best for you. She has also supported me after birth via text message, has reassured me through the entire process even if she isn't technically "on" for me anymore- she still answers my texts and checks on me!

You will not regret having her by your side. On top of this, she took a lot of pictures, wrote down my experience and also educated my son while I was in labor regarding the process. She is just truly amazing!”
